New Flesh Records is delighted to welcome back home Jauzas The Shining, this time on its NFLTD subdivision. The French wizard makes his eighth appearance on Umwelt’s imprint after successful "Neon" mini LP, "Strange Satellitte", "Bad Cave", "Particle", "0401 EP" and "Blade Runner" releases.
"The End Of The Tunnel" signs a dark and intricate EP delivering a couple of powerful mayhems plus two treasures for pure home listening pleasure.
The A side opens with "Étreinte Furtive", a slow and unhealthy tune that progressively turns into a haunting piece till its vibrating final. "The Art Of Parties" coming next invests dancefloor thanks to modular experiments over precise and hammering drums. To the boundaries between Ultradyne and Dopplereffekt's sonorities but with Jauzas’s recognizable signature. Ace!
The flipside lifts off with the title track. Built around a melancholic atmosphere, this introspective cut serves up a cold yet funky weapon perfect to illustrate a dystopian movie, full of eerie vocals and synth minimalisms. The evanescent EP concludes with "Moody Groove", a 4/4 electro-techno mixture of creative analogue tones and female lyrics.
Available on digital and 12 inch ltd vinyl only on demand. This four tracker sounds like a must have for every fan of Jauzas complex universe.
